wearing Madewell blouse, Armani Collection trousers, Made by Elves shoes, ethnic necklace from street vendor

I had to have these pants when I found them at What Poppy Wants this weekend because they fit like a dream, they were hemmed to my exact height, and they fit in with one of my main style resolutions of 2011--to purchase quality clothing even if it costs more. These happened to not cost very much, which made it all that much easier to take them home.

In other news, I also found a gorgeous Chanel blouse (also from What Poppy Wants) and finally purchased a DSLR (the Pentax k-x!) which should arrive in a few days. In other other news, I will now commence eating ramen noodles and canned tuna. My financial situation is suddenly less beefy.

  5. Arrghhh sorry I haven't sent you a comment in so longgg I've been reading on my iPhone but it's so bloody fiddly I haven't had chance to confirm in writing how much I love your posts (which I think you know I do anyway). I'm so excited for you to get your new camera!

And there is nothing wrong with noodles and tuna.. unless of course you have bought some bargain tuna in which case there is nothing worse in life. When I first moved out into the big wide world, I couldn't believe how expensive tuna was and because I was lacking in wisdom decided to buy five cans of Asda 'smart price' for about 20p a can and it was basically just tuna eyes and lips - there was no amount of extra ingredients that could detract from the taste, believe me I tried. The thought of it makes me shudder.

Hope you are well! One of my friends is going to SF in the summer - I'm very jealous! :) x
