Given my fascination with crime scene investigations and the eerie, disembodied women's shoes in
Guy Bourdin's photography it's no wonder I'm in love with these photos by Nicola Kuperus. Somehow she manages to convey images that are both extremely macabre (the sight of feet reminds me of an accidental death) and quite elegant at the same time.
Ding dong the witch is dead. I like these and the fact that they won't give me nightmares.
ReplyDeleteAccidental death - as in simultaneously attacked by seagulls and suffocated by a beachball? Happens all the time, especially when wearing high heels on the sea shore...
ReplyDeleteCuriously cool pics!
Ooh these are sso fun!!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me a bit of the Next Top Model crime scene shoot, but those were more gory, haha

Omg... I thought I was the only one who was obsessed with crime scene investigations? Besides I mean the crime scene investigators themselves of course, and if you're just kidding then now I feel really awkward. Love the photos... there are infinite ideas for these photo shoots :) I could give a couple suggestions. God can't wait for the next season of Dexter. Alright now I'm just being creepy. Great post btw

Ahh they totally have a Guy Bourdin vibe to them. He's one of my favorite photographers, so this is pretty awesome :)
