These photographs (as well as the one in my header) are the work of legendary fashion photographer Guy Bourdin, whose stunning oeuvre spans nearly 5 decades. Bourdin worked for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar from the mid-50s to the late 80s, and also shot numerous ad campaigns, most notably for the shoe designer Roland Jourdan (hence his preferred subject matter: disembodied legs punctuated by killer heels.) According to
Wikipedia, the guy was an asshole, but you can't argue with the genius of these images. His work has a voyeuristic, subtly pornographic quality which I find extremely appealing. What can I say, I'm a pervert.
Currently watching: TI's Road to Redemption. It's like Scared-Straight-meets-The-Wire-meets-Hotness. I highly recommend.
Maybe I'm a pervert too because these are pretty genius.
