My parents were in France last month and since they spoil my ass on the regular, my mom brought me back a real deal vintage Hermes scarf. It was so authentic, it actually still smelled like old lady when I took it out of the box. Probably some fabulous old lady who smoked skinny cigarettes and liked to bring her lap dog to the theatre. Theatre with an 'e' obviously.

Since then I've been using it to WASP-ify simpler outfits. See? It works!

  2. Nothing wrong with being spoiled by our parents. That's why they had us right? I take all my mothers gifts graciously. I tried to return the favor by buying her a blouse at Target for 10 dollars on the sales rack, "I'm a XL not a plus size 1," she told me. My daughter is going to hate me.

  6. Tres chic. The garden you are standing in front of also looks curiously exotic - was that also inspired by a trip to France?
