baywatch babe
Look past the barbed wire armband tattoo (it's hard, I know) and Pamela Anderson really is a classic beauty. Sure, homegirl's been looking like she needs a trip to the free clinic, but as these pictures from Elle prove, she can still be photoshopped into an approximation of her former Baywatch glory. Love the Mad Men styling of this shoot too. It suits her.
Currently in starvation mode for Lady Gaga costume. Thong leotards are mercilessly unforgiving.

watcha say
wearing shirt from Therapy, Velvet sweater, Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans, Forever21 necklace, Made by Elves booties
Please excuse these wretched unscientific photographs as proof that I get dressed in the morning. Because you'd never know it from my lack of outfit posts. My camera is still AWOL (I refuse to use the word 'lost'). I wasn't kidding about wanting a digital SLR, though. Do they even exist for less than $600 bucks?
I ordered these thigh-highs from Vicky's Secret instead of the Topshop ones because A.) they're real leather, and B.) they only cost $150 not $200 plus shipping. I hope they fit all right though. Methinks they'll come in handy when I GaGa myself on October 31st. Mmm...that sounds dirty.
you likey?

ice cream paint job
Zara strappy ankle boots, J Brand jeans, unknown top
The Zara boots haven't left my feet for like a week. I am seriously in love. Can you blame me?
Also, feeling inspired by the reverse french manis on Dior's Fall 09 runway, I got my nails done today. I have been weirdly obsessed with nail art since like 1995. I want to try out that Minx shit so bad but I've heard it lifts after only a few days. Anyone have experience they'd like to share?

hairspiration
Leigh Lezark: I don't know what you do exactly, other than run around looking like a vaguely intimidating wood nymph/vampire, but you have really good hair. And clothes. You're sort of my style icon.
Something tells me there is an outfit post looming in the not-so-distant future...

still hungry?
I want to like Giles' Spring 2010 collection. I really do. I'm just a little preoccupied with the fact that this model looks like she needs dewormer and a blood transfusion. Fuck, she's skinny.
In other news, I ate a bacon wrapped hot dog this weekend.

well ain't that some shit
wearing Urban Outfitters t-shirt, Saks Fifth Avenue scarf, DIY earrings, Gap jeans, Timex watch
I can go years without losing something. But when I do, I invariably lose the best shit I own. Sometimes I know exactly how and where I lost it (I still weep for the vintage shearling jacket left in some smoky bar on Bourbon St. my sophomore year in college), and other times, the mystery is as profound as the loss itself. It simply evaporates.
The latest casualty of this phenomenon is the fuchsia pashmina pictured above. It was a Christmas present last year from the Saks Fifth Avenue outlet. And its loss is having deep repercussions in the current state of my wardrobe. I'm practically depressed about it.
And on top of all of that my camera has still failed to surface. I just realized my last outfit post was from LA. I swear I had my camera when I got back though.
Anyone selling a used digital SLR?

i love you, refinery29...

...for illustrating the sartorial influence of Mean Girls (specifically, Regina George) on the Spring 2010 runways. Dare I say it, I think you've made 'fetch' happen.
ANYHOO. I'm sort of missing my digital camera and my favorite pashmina, which means no outfit posts and no fending off chills in the office...And no showing off the coolest boots ever that I got at Zara this weekend. Seriously, you will die when you see these. Someone in the blogosphere cooler than me probably already has them, but fuck it. They're still mine. And they're still awesome.
