Wandered through the Japanese Tea gardens last weekend. Because sometimes you just have to put on an inappropriately transparent lace dress and play tourist in your own city. I've been waiting for a place to wear this lace mini dress, and finally conceded to the weather and some degree of human decency by pairing it with spandex shorts and tons of winterlike layers on top. It worked, sorta.
Wearing Joie lace dress found at TJ Maxx, thrifted cashmere Gap sweater, Zara booties, UO jacket, vintage necklace and bag (which cost me a whopping $2 at a thrift store in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.)
Wow, it's so beautiful there!! Loving your outfit as well! :D

I had a photo shoot there too once upon a time. I was wearing a Tupac t-shirt. We ended up getting crunk at rainforest cafe and some other place then wandering into the Sheraton to find a bathroom and get another drink at the bar. I took my birth control with a corona and we got a room. I have a baby now and guess what? She does look like a burrito when she is wrapped up. You were the first to call her that, "pregnant? with what? a burrito?" and I quote. Love your studded booties. They dont hurt you? I need comfy shoes.

ReplyDeleteIf you lived in Nola you could wear that adorable lace dress with some strappy sandals at night and not need that sweater and coat in the summer.
