wearing Urban Outfitters top, White khakis (White as in the brand, not the color) H&M shoes

Uh, so I remembered what khakis were today. Specifically, I remembered that I hadn't worn them since 2005 and even then it was only because I was volunteering in a prison and we couldn't wear anything blue (including denim) lest we be mistaken for an inmate. But then I saw this:

And let's just say I was inspired. Yes, I'm feeling inspired again. Don't listen to the Scientologists; antidepressants are a beautiful thing.

  1. I don't care what you had to do, I'm just glad you're feeling inspired again. Wait, I mean, of course I care.

Rolling up khakis is cuuuute. Damn. Love it.

  3. They look so good! I can't believe it's taken you this long to dig them out again but I am glad you are feeling inspired again because these outfit posts are great. How come you volunteered at a prison? Was it interesting and did you turn out like one of the guards from the Stanford Prison experiment? Haha :) x

  8. It's tough to make khakis look cool, but you did it. And damn it, now I want khakis.

I'm glad you're feeling better! I'm still in the funk, but here's hoping I'll brighten up soon.

  9. Why are scientologists so brainwashed? I love the khakis on you? I need to venture to the khaki world but I have bad associations with dumb jocks in high school and khakis. I should really get over this.

  12. lol@antidepressants being the answer :)

p.s. loving the khaki, and as a non-H&M country person (English I speak good ;) I am constantly amazed at the cool shoes H&M produce. Score!

p.p.s. you should definitely rock the jodphurs as fashion items. I'vce always adored them (and I don't horse ride either)

  14. Hey thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I am not religious either (I'm spiritual) but I know we have two sides to us. Flesh and spirit. Medicine helps the flesh while prayer works on both. After I wrote that I thought maybe I shouldn't b/c not everyone believes in the 'creator' hope it wasn't offensive in any way to you. :)
