As promised, here are the Lara Stone editorials shot by Steven Klein for February's Vogue France. They are, for lack of a better word, art. Some might find them offensive, but personally I prefer my fashion dripping in perversion and sex appeal. And anyone who is even mildly shocked at the "graphic" nature of the images obviously isn't familiar with the fact that the fashion industry is the world's original attention whore. Yeah, Lindsay Lohan ain't got nothin' on them.
And I'm as smitten with Lara as everyone else. I love that she's got a little t & a. Sort of a refreshing departure from this. When I look at her I don't get an overwhelming urge to eat a Big Mac smothered in deep fried cheese sauce.
Uh, what are they trying to sell here?! No fashion appears except in the last photo! And except for the last photo, again, these shots are not even visually interesting, on a purely artistic level.
