dropped crotch

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Zara pants, Kimchi and Blue Top, H&M jacket and shoes, the usual jewelry

I may be slow to warm up to certain trends, but eventually I tend to to embrace even the trickiest looks, particularly if they've been cleverly styled in numerous Nylon editorials and end up being championed by Chloe Sevigny. Enter the drop crotch trouser, in theory an intimidating piece wrought with potential figure de-flattery. In reality...an intimidating piece wrought with potential figure de-flattery. But I like them anyway, and when I spotted these cozy flannel ones at Zara on the sale rack for $14, I figured it couldn't hurt to try them out, even though my friend assured me they'd make me look like I pooped myself. While they may not be as stunning on me as, say, a model with a 36" inseam, they are, nevertheless, not unflattering. And they're a great way to break up the monotony of wearing jeans for 11 days straight.

  6. Re: your comment about Amy Astly, I do think she is kind of full of s@#$ too. It's like, magazines promote smaller girls and its weird because one comment on my post after that was something to the extent of, "I didn't realize that so many models had eating disorders" I was thinking, "where you born yesterday?" I don't know. It pisses me off the whole thing. I try not to put posts up of super skinny waifs (although it happens). I am just venting to you darling. Thanks for listening!

  7. I think it looks awesome on you. It is a hard silhouette to follow...you never see anyone wearing it. But I guess that's a good part still...

  8. You are gutsy- I'll give you that. Though if I see you wearing these pants in public... we may have to have a conversation. ;) Keep it coming.
